Some Great News!

So writing updates about Thailand is super difficult when your whole life is taken up by crazy camp kids that you can't get enough of! Or at least that is what I am experiencing. Sorry though, it's no excuse. I wanted to update you on how we are doing on getting to Thailand. As the title says we have had some great news on support this last month. We found out that our home church is willing to give us $1000 for our trip in Thailand! Thanks Church family! We feel blessed that they want to support us even if we are not planning at the moment to stay in Thailand for long term. We felt really loved by that. Also we have received some larger one time donations from individuals as well, bringing up our grand total of given support/promised support to $7000. The elephant is filling slowly but surely! Jess and I have really been amazed by the types of people who are giving to us. Many people we did not even expect! And people are being really generous with their money as well. We are almost half way to  our goal!

We also wanted to make you aware of another way to support us. This idea came from my dear mother-in-law. If any of those people who read this might want to donate frequent flyer miles to us for our plan tickets, that would save us at least $2000 dollars! Also if someone wants to donate money for just that, that is also possible.

Since we are already talking about finances, i figure I would let you know that if any of you all are planning on giving to our ministry we are beginning to get to the stage of trying to figure what money we will be getting. If you are in this group of people, contact us  in what ever way is convenient for you so that we can more easily calculate what we need. We appreciate and thank you for your support!
